Internal proposal approval workflow

Check the offer before anyone promises the work.

A proposal is ready to send only when the price, scope and commitments are agreed. Maura is designed to show the team what needs checking and bring the exact revised offer to an owner for approval.

From draft to decision

A review path for offers with real delivery consequences.

The approval question is specific: is this version of the customer-facing offer commercially sound and deliverable? Keep the source, findings and decision attached to the same opportunity.

01 / Screen

Find terms that need attention

Check quote lines, proposed dates and customer responsibilities against the team’s approved questions and available company references.

02 / Resolve

Correct the draft with context

Teammates inspect the underlying rate card, project files and delivery rules, then revise the quote or proposal. Unanswered issues remain visible.

03 / Decide

Approve a known version

Route the current offer to a permitted owner. Changes after review call for a fresh check before the customer-facing terms are approved.

What the manager sees

A decision, with the reasons beside it.

  • Commercial termsPrice, scope, exclusions, schedule and customer obligations are visible together.
  • Review findingsPossible missed charges or risky promises can be resolved with reference material and team judgment.
  • Version and historyThe decision relates to the reviewed offer, so a changed quote cannot quietly inherit an old approval.

Questions buyers ask

Who remains responsible for the offer?

Does Maura approve proposals automatically?

No. The proposed workflow surfaces findings and routes a reviewable offer to an authorised owner. The owner makes the commercial decision.

What if the quote changes after approval?

A changed price or customer-facing term needs another review and decision for that version. The current implementation plan preserves versions and approval history.

Is this the same as customer e-signature?

No. This page covers internal approval before delivery. Customer acceptance and signature are separate steps.
